Genieve Couture was founded by London College of Fashion graduate, Genieve Vasconcelos who is passionate about sustainability.
Her extraordinary Sustainable Couture designs have been exhibited at the ‘Glacéau Vitamin Water’, exhibition, at the old Truman Brewery, showcased at the ‘Seams’ exhibition, at the Hoxton Arches, featured in exhibitions for Black History Month and International Women’s Day. Her ‘Urban Tribes’ Athleisure collection was selected to open the London College of Fashion’s Prestigious Press Fashion Show.
After Genieve’s graduation she was headhunted by Pause Fashion Hub to showcase her collection in a solo presentation at Freemasons Hall for London Fashion Week. The lockdown gave birth to G-Label, which is an ethical high street, unisex, casual wear collection.
One of Genieve’s most notable collaborations and inspiration for the brand's name, was an extraordinary project for the high street store, H&M. Genieve was commissioned to design a large-scale couture dress made from recycled clothing! This stunning creation was displayed in the main window of one of H&M’s flagship stores, for its first fashion recycling week!
